Alex Patton to share Ozean Interactive Story

Saturday, March 27th, 2010

I have decided to share Ozean’s story.  The story of the creation of Ozean Media, its transformation from a traditional advertising agency located in Gainesville, FL to an interactive advertising agency serving the world, and the entire story in between.

It is going to be a difficult process for me.  If you know me, I am a private person, but I have been encouraged to share this story by people I trust and respect.

I am going to share the story on a page on Ozean’s website.  You can find that page here.

I ask for your patience, as I anticipate this being a difficult process.  Godspeed.

Florida Gators #1 Recruiting Class Includes Ozean

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

Ozean is finally living out their lifelong dream.  After hours upon hours of preparation and undying perseverance, Ozean has proudly inked its name and joined the Florida Gators #1 recruiting class as the go-to interactive agency for the University Athletic Association.

Ozean’s hard work, dedication and teamwork have led them to the opportunity of a lifetime: developing an interactive application designed to better satisfy the dedicated fans and supporters of Gator athletics.

Ozean will be working with the UAA to create a virtual tour of UF’s three major sporting facilities. The application will allow fans to see 360-degree panoramic views of the field and/or court from their seats prior to arriving at an event.

Via the internet, fans will be able to compare seats and sections, zoom in and out of each designated point, and identify nearby hotspots including restrooms, first aid stations and telephones.

Phil Goal, Ozean’s coach for four years, truly believes no one is better fit for the job.

“Ozean might be small,” said Coach Goal of Florida High School, “but they sure do have the heart, grit and determination to compete with the big boys.”

Rated by some boards as a five star prospect, others had them pegged as a four star prospect, yet others as only a two or three star prospect. Ozean’s stock rose in the past six months due to a remarkable performance at tryouts.

Ozean has never been more eager to get started. Not only was Ozean given the opportunity to create the application for one of the nation’s largest football stadiums, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, but they also were awarded the opportunity to do the same for UF’s Stephen C. O’Connell Center and Alfred A. McKethan Stadium. Ozean was recruited to be a multi-sport, all star player and hopes that its hard work and passion surpass expectations.

“I feel so lucky to officially be part of the UAA team,” said Alex Patton, Ozean’s owner. “Creating this application for all three of UF’s major sporting facilities is a major opportunity.”

Upon completion, scheduled for the end of 2010, fans will be able to access the application through the Gatorzone website (www.gatorzone.com).

While Ozean will be busy practicing and working out over the next year, we will never be too busy to do interviews with past, current, or future fans.

Please note: Alex Patton or Ozean did not sign a letter of intent to play for the Florida Gators, but Ozean did, in fact, sign a contract to do business with the University Athletic Association creating the application detailed above. We were just looking for a creative way to present it to you! For more information on how Ozean can create an interactive product for your business, call 352-376-0505.
